- IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Middle School Elective has been moved and combined with the High School elective dates due to camper registrations. Combing the two sessions will allow for the elective camp to happen. There will be appropriate separations between the middle school and high school groups during group discussions and rooming, though main sessions and meal times will be shared. If Middle School Elective registrants are not able to make the dates of July 24-26th, a full refund will be applied.
- Due to unforeseen logistical circumstances, we are taking down the option for Soccer Elective.
- Summer camp registration will open each year starting in January. This provides almost two extra months of registration and Early Bird prices.
- Instead of campers having options to pay the “deposit,” “deposit + additional,” or “full amount,” only the “full payment” option for the camp session will be available. This will be required at the time of registration. This will allow the Camp to have more funds on hand to cover startup costs for the summer. If payment of the full amount at registration presents a hardship for a family, we encourage them to contact the Camp Manager to learn how to apply for a scholarship to possibly help with the cost. Please note that this full-payment policy will apply to all registrations, whether fees are being paid by the camper’s family, a church, or by any other individual or organization.
- The amount charged for registration will still depend on the same tiered discount structure for churches that we have had in place for several years. Each church will continue to be given a discount code every year based on its tier level as a supporting church of Camp Pitt. To receive the proper tiered discount for their church, the person registering the camper must obtain the discount code from the church beforehand and enter it during the registration process.
- A paper version of registration will be mailed to all partnering churches in 2023. It will be encouraged to use the online registration in almost every circumstance, however, paper registrations will be made available.
- The camp will have a no-refund policy for registration fees within the terms of its previously allowed exceptions of 14-30 days prior to the Camper’s arrival. All registrations are 100% transferable. In the event that a registered camper is unable to attend, or chooses not to attend, the session of camp, that camper’s registration fee will be fully transferrable to another camper. Parents/legal guardians must request a code from the Camp Pitt office (camppittoffice@gmail.com) to transfer a registration to a new camper. Cancellations due to a medical emergency, illness, or family emergency can receive full refunds upon request and approval.
